Our Story
How did The Salty Bear come to be? It started with a simple belief: dining out should feel like a weekend getaway. Inspired by coastal fish shacks, mountain smokehouses, and lively neighborhood gathering spots, our founders set out to build a place where rugged comfort meets coastal freshness.
We take our food seriously, but never ourselves. Everything that comes out of our kitchen is made from scratch using local, responsibly sourced ingredients—from our house-pickled toppings to our signature sea-salt seasoned rubs.
